Toros D7 was a large bull-like Mechanical Beast that originally appeared in the Mazinger Z manga, and later appeared in Mazinger Z vs. Devilman.
Appearance[]
Toros D7 is stylized to look like a cross between a rhinoceros and a bull, it has a large red body with thin legs. It walks on all fours in spite of having human-like forelimbs and has a thin tail. It also has a relatively tiny face and a large horn just above his head with layers of spikes going down his back.
Abilities[]
Toros D7 has no projectile attacks instead relying on its sleek slender frame, speed, and large horn to impale its enemies. The horn is shown to be powerful enough to pierce through Super Alloy Z.
History[]
Toros D7 was used by Baron Ashura in his plan to capture the Mazinger Z. It attacked Tokyo before being called back to the Saluud. As the Mazinger resurfaces from the ocean after defeating a couple Mechanical Beasts, the Toros and Ghostfire V9 attack. The Toros pierces through Mazinger's abdomen which hampered some of the Mazinger's functions. However, using the Ghostfire's chain Mazinger manages to catch Toros and throw it into Ghostfire before throwing them both a distance away before they explode.
Trivia[]
- In both of its appearances the Toros D7 was destroyed after being caught by a chain, rammed into another Mechanical Beast, and thrown away before both beasts explode.
