Shiren is the main protagonist of Mazinger Destroying Hell and is the pilot of Mazinger ZEST.
History[]
Shiren is an ordinary boy who could be found anywhere. When he loses consciousness and wakes up, he is in the cockpit of Mazinger ZEST wearing a mysterious pilot suit, forced to fight to the death against other Mazinger's and their pilots.

Shiren physically resembles an alternate, younger version of Koji Kabuto and wears a pilot suit identical to his.
