The Mothership is a large UFO that was commanded by Gandal for a good part of the series. It first appeared in episode 42.

On the edge of the Mothership is a monstrous face and the ship has many tentacles portruding out of it. Like the Motherburn it stores Saucer Beasts, MiniFOs, and soldiers to be released for battle. By the time the Vega Beasts were introduced, it also stored them inside for deployment.
History[]
With more and more Saucer Beasts being destroyed, the Mothership was brought to the Empire base on the moon. Since its introduction, the Mothership served as the main vessel for the battle against the Grendizer until its destruction in episode 74, when Gandal fought for less than 3 minutes with Grendizer. The mecha destroyed the Mothership´s face, and afterward Grendizer fell into the sea but pulls up but the Mothership slides across the water and crashes into a cliff and explodes.
