Mazinger X is the anime-exclusive successor to Koji Kabuto's Mazinger Z in Grendizer U.
Backstory[]
After Mazinger was destroyed since its first contact with the Vegan Empire, it was later upgraded with additional weaponry after studying Grendizer and the Vega Saucer Beasts.
Technological Overview[]
While Mazinger X's aspects remain constant as the previous Mazinger Z, its internal schematics were outstandingly improved as shown in its first sortie defeating Coa Coa at only 30% output of its maximum strength. The "X" theme is derived from the wings when combined with the New Scrander module with improved flight capabilities.
