Major Koji Kabuto (少佐 兜 甲児 Shōsa Kabuto Kōji) is the main protagonist of the American Mazinger Z comic, and primary pilot of the destructive combat robot Mazinger.
Background[]
Major Kabuto was born somewhere during one of several wars on Earth that left the Earth uninhabitable. He eventually joined his country's military where he ascended to the rank of major. For a long time, Kabuto dreamed of another world without all of the wars and filled with life.
Appearance[]
Koji has red highlighted hair on top of his regular black hair. The only clothes he wears in the comic is a blue form-fitting military uniform used by soldiers.
Personality[]
Major Kabuto is a serious minded person with dreams he wishes to fulfill. While he never hesitates to fight and put himself in harms way, he will do anything to protect people he cares about. When his dreams lead him to another world filled with life and beauty, Koji was enthralled to be in that kind of world. He immediately falls in love with Krishna, despite the difference in size between them and vowed to protect her with his life.
