King Gori is the first Vega Beast appearing in episode 52 and 53 of the Grendizer Anime.
Appearance[]
King Gori resembles a gigantic gorilla adorned in brown armor with yellow accents including a spiked helmet with a pair of yellow spikes coming out of the sides on its head and one drill tipped horn coming out of the top.
Abilities and Powers[]
King Gori possesses a strong animal instinct attacking a target without mercy. King Gori possesses super strength relative to its size able to throw a robot in its height class around with little resistance. Its armor gives King Gori an impressive defense that most attacks cannot penetrate. The drill on top of its head can also be used offensively, usually in the form of a headbutt.
Since King Gori is basically an overgrown gorilla with armor, he mostly acts with the original brain with an abnormally high aggression. Sometimes King Gori can be commanded to do something with a voice-command watch that then takes over its body. This however makes the watch a very open weakness, for if the watch is destroyed, the circuits in King Gori's head will explode causing it to not fight properly.

- King Gori is the only Vega Beast that does not have an onomatopoeic name.
- King Gori's name and actions in its appearance homage King Kong.
- The Voice Command Watch controlling King Gori's movement is an homage to the 1967 Toei tokusatsu ''Giant Robo'', wherein the titular robot is operated by a radio controlled watch that the main protagonist uses to operate him, including the flaw of the watch making for an easy target.
