Kelvinius is a Superhuman Warrior Beast that served as the monster-of-the-week in episode 16 of the Great Mazinger anime. Kelvinius was a prince of the original Mycenae Empire until he was forced to become a Warrior Beast. He is also one of the few that has his true face located on the head instead of any other body parts.

Appearance and Personality[]

Kelvinius resembles a large winged humanoid with pink skin, yellow wings, a violet tunic with deep blue bands, a belt buckle that resembles a demonic face a feathery collar, a hat with a blade on top and wings on the side, and a pair of sandal-like boots with small wings near the back. He wielded a trident and a small, circular dark brown shield. Kelvinius due to his heritage as the prince of Mycenae demands respect from his peers, even from his supposed superiors. As such he usually just lies around until coerced to take action.

Abilities and Equipment[]

Kelvinius is capable of flight due to his wings. In combat he wields a trident on his left hand which can even ignite and burn an opponent once it makes contact. His shield can be used as a throwing weapon when not used for defense. There is also a bomb planted into Kelvinius that the Empire uses in case he goes out of line.

History[]

Kelvinius is first seen lying around having flashbacks when he was a prince in the once peaceful Mycenae Empire until when the Great General of Darkness took him away to make him into a Warrior Beast. After waking up, he was dragged into the Mikelos, then Kelvinius is launched into battle. In response Venus A is launched along with Boss Borot. Upon meeting them Kelvinius attacked, but does not defeat Borot and Venus. Great Mazinger appears and he starts to attack Kelvinius who then told them that Emperor of Darkness and Great General of Darkness came to the peaceful Mycenae Empire and made its inhabitants into Warrior Beasts. The Mikelos headed toward Kelvinius seeing his actions as treasonous. Kelvinius in retaliation flew to it in a kamikaze fashion and he crashed into the Mikelos, severely damaging it. A piece of Kelvinius' wings falls onto Great Mazinger's hands to remember him by.
