The Helper Robot is one of the machines that helped Dr. Juzo Kabuto build Mazinger Z underground. In the original manga it had very little importance other than acting as a secretary. In Shin Mazinger ZERO it had a more antagonistic role in the first chapters of the manga.
Appearance[]
The Helper Robot has a human shaped body. The top has two large antenna connected by a small neck. The right arm has a beam weapon attached to it, while a power supply is attached to the back.
Personality[]
The Helper Robot follows its programming from Juzo to its utmost detail. While it politely addresses Koji Kabuto and Sayaka Yumi and willingly allowed them inside the Photon Lab, it will attack them in order for Koji to meet the conditions of piloting the Mazinger Z and live up to the Kabuto family name.
Abilities[]
While the robot was built mainly for maintenance such as cleaning it is capable of combat with its superior strength and blaster that can pierce through hard metal surfaces.
History[]
On orders from Juzo Kabuto, the robot destroyed and killed anyone other than Koji and Sayaka from entering the Photon Power Laboratory. When they arrived, it showed them away to the hangar where the recently completed Mazinger Z was kept. When Koji started to remember the Mazinger from his counterpart from another timeline, he began to panic. As Sayaka tried to comfort him, the robot was about to strike Sayaka. Koji got her out of the way noticing the robot dented the platform railings. Koji then moved with great reflexes to avoid the shots from its blaster before punching the robot with his fist which surprisingly made a dent and broke it apart.
