The Galen Cannon is a massive cannon in episode 11 of Mazinger Z that Baron Ashura found in Mt. Fuji and plan to use to destroy the Photon Lab. It uses a special explosive power call Magdum Power.

The Galen Cannon has enough destructive power to destroy an entire fleet of bombers. Its power is so vast that even Dr. Hell theorize it could break through the future technology photon barrier of the Photon Light Institute and blast it in one shot.
History[]

It was created by the Japanese Military to defend itself. It was only fired once when a squad of black B29s flew over to raid Tokyo. The Galen Cannon was setup and blast the Squad, wiping them all in one shot. One of the Iron Mask manage to discover it and alert Baron Ashura who made base around it. The cannon was repaired and aimed at the Photon Lab but was blown up by a special bomb that Koji laid in its controls.
