Mayumi was one of the people attacked by the Gamia Q but she survived. Mayumi was captured along with a couple of other girls including Jun Hono by Toenail of Satan for his foolhardy project to make mermaids out of them. She was the first to be put on the table and was about to be cut in half until Jun helped everyone escape.
