Mazinger Z is a video game for the Fujitsu FM-7 home computer. It was released in 1984 by Bandai Soft, making it the oldest known video game based on the Mazinger metaseries.
Plot[]
The story involves Koji Kabuto and Mazinger Z having to stop Dr. Hell's Kikaiju army as the mad doctor intends to finally wipe out Mazinger Z and the Photon Laboratory once and for all.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay is a turn based RPG where you encounter various Kikaiju and battle them with a mechanic similar to early entries in the Final Fantasy franchise. If Mazinger takes on too much damage to his entire body then it is destroyed and the game is over
Reception[]
The game is considered a Kusoge, or ''Shitty Game'', among Japanese gamers for it's unfair and extreme difficulty and unclear instructions on how to fight off enemies.
