Goberius is a reptilian Warrior Beast that appeared in episode 8 of the Great Mazinger anime alongside Diacus.
Appearance[]
Goberius is a green colored, amphibious lizard-like Warrior Beast. His true face is located on his forehead, and resembles a theatre mask. He has a metal pack on the back with wings that allow him to fly, fins for front feet, and two drill-like horns on the top of his head.
Abilities and Equipment[]
Goberius is able to fly through the thrusters and wings on his back that expand and retract. His back also has a six-tube rocket launcher that can shift upward. Goberius' tongue can snare and electrocute enemies. It is also capable of swimming through its finned feet.
History[]
General Draydou launched Goberius who then attacked the city with his missiles, then attacked Venus A along Diacus, when Diacus was hit by a rock, Goberius attacked Boss Borot with his missiles, then Goberius was ´´attacked´´ by Borot Pressure Punch which destroyed on contact, after a pause to electrocute Borot, Goberius kidnapped Kenzo Kabuto at the Science Lab and headed toward the Mikelos. However, Draydou and Julicaesar had an argument in which Julicaesar attempts to tell Goberius to self-destruct while Draydou tells Goberious to return quickly. The great appears, and Mikelos attacked Great Mazinger with one of its lasers, then the Great cut Goberius head and grabbed it while Goberius beheaded body was destroyed by one of Mikelos lasers by mistake. After withdrawing, Julicaesar and Draydou have an argument which is interrupted by the Great General.
What happened to Goberius's head afterwards is a mystery.
