Zannin is the general of the Demon Tribe in Mazinger Angels. Much like his counterpart from Mazinger Z vs. Devilman, he serves as leader of the tribe and comes under Dr. Hell's service after he liberates the demons from the Himalayas.
Appearance[]
Zannin is largely the same as his original counterpart in appearance standing at least 2 meters tall with a mammalian predator head, eyes on his chest, and a long tail.
Personality[]
In his introduction, Zannin had become Dr. Hell's loyal servant due to a chip implanted in his head. He served Dr. Hell's every command and gave him information on certain subjects and what was going on with his army.
History[]
As Dr. Hell had his Mechanical Beast Mantes K9 dig through the glaciers of the Himalayas, Zannin is the first demon to be encountered. Soon Dr. Hell places Zannin under his control and has him command the Demon Tribe to play out Dr. Hell's plan. He is later seen along with the rest of the demon tribe as two of Mazinger Angels and Devilman are captured and held prisoner as the rest of the Angels arrive. As he watches with Dr. Hell, Devilman causes a thunderstorm which causes lightning to strike the demons either killing them or frying their microchips. Zannin was among the demons that were destroyed.
