Cleo is a Superhuman Warrior Beast in the Combat Intelligence division under Minister Argos. As such she is not built for combat and is primarily involved in espionage.
Appearance and Personality[]
Cleo is a humanoid Warrior Beast with the appearance of an adult woman. Her face is colored peach with large red eyes with matching boots, semi-wavy turquoise 'hair' with a pink plate on top, a mostly purple body, and it has a belt with a skirt. Unlike most Warrior Beasts, she does not show a visible real face and her brain is implied to be in her head. Cleo does not like to fight and prefers to observe from afar but will fight when she has to, although she still dislikes to and would often try to simply subdue her enemies before fleeing.
Abilities and Equipment[]
Due to Cleo's role as a spy, she is able to assume a human form to observe others. In her true form she is able to release missiles from her chest, release beams from her eyes, armor capable of taking a hit, and releasing glue from her finger tips that can ensnare enemies.
History[]
Cleo is first seen in her human form saving Shiro from a speeding truck, when he left Archduke Gorgon showed up. When Cleo tries to flee, she is transformed into a Warrior Beast, then Venus A showed up. Only for Cleo to disappear and meet the Human Form of Cleo until Venus leaves. Cleo later befriended Shiro, Boss, Mucha, and Nuke. Because of this she is torn between loyalty to Mycenae Empire and humanity. She later goes with Boss, his gang, Shiro, and Jun to a school where she had a merry time with the children. However Gorgon shows up again and Cleo has to flee.
Her body is then transformed into its true Warrior Beast form. Cleo jumps into a cliff hoping to kill herself. While falling, she reminisces on all the good times she spent with humans. The attempt failed however and Venus and Boss Borot come to her wanting to talk things out. Cleo buries them in boulders, apologizes and runs away to the Science Fortress Laboratory hoping they would kill her in defense.
The Great Mazinger comes out to do the deed, with Tetsuya managing to wound Cleo on her shoulders with a sword. Before Tetsuya can finish Cleo off, he is stopped by Jun and Boss. They convince him that Cleo isn't a menace so the Great helps Cleo up. Gorgon appears and sets off a bomb in Cleo's abdomen to destroy Great Mazinger, but the Great survived and Cleo was left lifeless with Great Mazinger leaving her corpse in the sea. With Cleo dead, everyone mourns the loss of their friend.
Trivia[]
- Cleo's appearance and abilities make her similar to the female mecha like Minerva X from Mazinger Z or the Getter Queen from Getter Robo.
