Barubari is a mammalian Warrior Beast featured in the first episode of Great Mazinger along with Obelius.
Appearance[]
Barubari has an ape-like large and burly humanoid body with maroon hair covering its body. Its forearms and lower legs are covered in armor, has a mace for a left hand, a red axila, and grey metal jaws with sharp teeth. His true face (also ape-like) is located in his chest.
Abilities[]
Barubari mainly fights in close combat with mace hand but can release missiles from its mouth, and is capable of regenerating from wounds.
History[]
General Ligern presented Barubari along with General Birdler's Obelius to Great General of Darkness. Meanwhile, Shiro, Nuke, and Mucha go riding in the woods, then they come across Barubari; in a frenzy not to be hit by him, Shiro is thrown off the motorcycle and Barubari grabs him after Boss Borot failed to stop him, and "eats" Shiro. The Great Mazinger was being launched, while Borot is being tormented by Obelius and Barubari and then Mazinger himself, Great Mazinger grabs Obelius and throws him to Barubari, impaling him, then with Mazinger Blade he stabs Barubari and holds it there while Obelius is spinning at high speed to drill the Great but instead impales Barubari and they both explode.
