Baras K9 is a Mechanical Beast that served as the monster-of-the-week in episode 33 of the Mazinger Z anime.
Appearance[]
Baras K9 is a powerfully built humanoid Mechanical Beast with black rockets on its axilla that allow it to fly. It has a yellow face with spikes protruding from the sides of its head. It features a large purple fin on its back. The forearms and lower legs are colored gray and feature spikes.
Abilities and Equipment[]
Baras K9 is able to fly through the rockets attached to its arms while being able to steer itself through the large fin on its back. The fin can also launch spikes. There are also spikes on its forearms and legs that rotate to increase the power in its blows. The torso contains missiles for a surprise attack. For another surprise attack, the mouth launches slime that can blind an opponent and distract it long enough for an opening.
